Ethermed is dedicated to using AI and NLP to eliminate the human labor involved in all Prior Authorizations. We are funded, growing, and looking for world-class teammates to own, lead, build, and execute next generation solutions alongside us. This is a unique opportunity to create an immediate and lasting impact within the company and on US healthcare as we know it. Your work will touch hundreds of thousands of patients, providers, and administrators daily, and through your code we will truly be able to help change US healthcare.

As a Director of Product for Ethermed Online, you will lead the end-to-end product development of Ethermed’s core SaaS authorization submission tool. This role sits at the intersection of product, design, engineering, clinical operations, and payer connectivity. You will own requirements, workflows, UX decisions, and execution — ensuring we deliver intuitive, compliant, and scalable experiences for both providers and payers.

This is a highly visible, high-impact role reporting directly to the VP of Product. If you thrive in fast-paced startup environments and are passionate about building healthcare workflows that truly change how care is delivered, we’d love to talk.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end product development for Ethermed’s SaaS authorization submission platform, from discovery through execution.
  • Define product requirements, workflows, UX concepts, and delivery plans in partnership with Product, Design, and Engineering.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Clinical, and Payer Connectivity teams to ensure solutions are accurate, compliant, and scalable.
  • Translate complex healthcare and payer requirements into intuitive user workflows.
  • Own prioritization, roadmap planning, and delivery of key authorization submission initiatives.

Table Stakes:

  • 5–7 years of experience in Product Management, Product Design, or Digital Product roles with shipped B2B SaaS products.
  • Direct experience with healthcare workflows (required).
  • Strong UX instincts with the ability to evaluate and guide intuitive product experiences.
  • Comfort working with data to inform prioritization and decision making.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience building products in prior authorization, revenue cycle, payer integrations, or clinical automation.
  • Background that blends design + product or “digital product” disciplines.
  • Experience building zero-to-one SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with compliance-heavy healthcare environments.
